I have tried several times to start my business. I consider myself to be a starting-up entrepreneur. The last time was two years ago. With a couple of friends, I started a new kind of survey company. Actually, the problem that we were trying to resolve was related to how to get feedback from the company’s customers, but in a chipper way. The second need that we see is that many companies created serveral survey campaigns, but not all of them could really get good insights from the data in a proper and efficient way.
I believe that motivation wasn’t the correct one, and we thought that just a few hours a week would have been enough.
Where would I like to be? I believe that hybrid entrepreneurs are a good combination.
I’m glad you were able to learn lessons from your ventures. I believe they customer feedback idea is great. I’ve worked with a lot of companies in the past who had issues with receiving feedback from their customers. Keep pushing forward. You’ll be a great entrepreneur!!!
Throughout my life I have grown up in an entrepreneurial environment where all the people in my family have gotten ahead thanks to commerce working with different things, I feel that I could be a lifestyle entrepreneur or perhaps hybrid since it has a very good combination In a few years I would like to have our own glasses business with my husband, since it is something we like and we are gaining experience. In addition to this we would continue to be involved in the same environment in which we have grown up.
That’s a great business to start and I’m glad to hear you’re gaining experience in that area. Good luck to you and your husband!!!
After listened the first ATP, I consider that I would like to be an professional entrepreneur, due to I always wanted to know all information related about the business before making any movement, I feel more comfortable making a conscious investment or creation, being in control of the entire situation and having as many answers as I can, for that, I´m going to start to preparing in the finance field and being able to create my own financial analysis company, focused on the aeronautical field, in order to give advices to the airlines and related companies about the next steps that they should take to avoid the bankruptcies and chapters 11, which have been more common phenomena due to bad financial movements due to lack of aeronautical and financial knowledge and how the aviation money moves.
Building a business isn’t easy, you always need to think about satisfying a need, I consider myself a mix between profesional and lifestyle entrepreneur, is a good conbination for me. I would like to have my own companie though, I should learn quite about this topic, I’m into to do business, due to that If I had to present a business proyect, I would lean towards what I know, a topic that is a familiar to me, I’m not sure, however it could be whatever it’s related to beauty, for instance make-up. Furthermore it’s important to do everything with discipline, perseverance, and passion.
I think that I am a hybrid entrepreneur because, even though I meet all the requirements to be considered a professional entrepreneur, I also have several characteristics of a serial entrepreneur. The sector in which I work is social policies, programs, and projects.
For this reason, if I had to create a business, it would be a consulting organization specialized in regional development.
This organization would focus on economic, social, and environmental progress in specific regions of the country, to assist governments, corporations, and communities in developing plans that improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations.
Being an entrepreneur nowadays is a challenge that involves making many decisions that we decide to discard due to internal fears, it is something like go out our comfort zone and venturing into a world that can be full of many uncertainties and that due to our fear In many cases we decide to discard, especially when we have failed before, it is a mentality that takes time to change, but it is necessary if we want to emerge and create a better future.
Juan, you’re completely correct. The great part is that it’s easier to find other people like you who can support you through your journey. The opportunities are out there and with the right support and time, as you said, change will come.
I enjoyed listening to your two sessions, they led me to think about various aspects of my venture. My husband and I have a venture that we could define in a hybrid style, each of us has our work but we work in parallel in our venture with effort and dedication, we have never thought of it as our occupation, it is our free time, it is a sum of professional knowledge that we also enrich with our daily work, it is also our work. I am not sure that it is a unique venture in the market, but I´m sure that it responds to a specific need of a specific group of consumers.
We have an open mind for investors to join our venture, who with their experience will provide us with constructive feedback that will allow us to identify and work on opportunities for improvement.
If investors join our venture to leverage it, it would be ideal, but we are clear that we always want to be in the development of the business model, develop it, grow, and why not in the future diversify it.
Thank you for the kind words. You and your husband sound like really great business owners. There’s always a lot to think about when bringing on investors, but it seems that you’re starting to do your own research. Much success to the both of you!!!
In my opinion, if I had an entrepreneurship I would like to be an hibryd entrepreneur because I feel that the business are not easy and I should have a good strategy to do a business plan to be able to grow.
Therefore, it’s a good way to work in a company where they are paying you and have your own business without taking a risks, while you gain an experiences in business. Also, it’s beneficial because dreams can come true.
In conclusion, entrepreneurship in a hybrid way is the safest to start your own business where you can learn in an organized and effective way without taking many risks.
I believe you have a great plan. Though you’ll take risk in your business, having a job is what a lot of people do to help fund their dream which eliminates the financial risk. Also working a job helps build skills you need to run your business better.
I think that I would be a hybrid entrepeneur in that case. Since school I have been dreaming of creating my own restaurants company, where I can sell colombian food in other countries so that they can know them., and I think I have a lot of good ideas with it. However I wouldn’t like to focus only on this, because I’d like to develop in my future job; maybe, in order to have a livelihood in case something goes wrong, and also to get the enough resources to keep my company standing.
You can definitely do both Mateo. Good luck with your business and career. There’s a lot of resources out there for you as well as grants available to entrepreneurs. I’m sure you’ll be able to manage being a hybrid entrepreneur!!!
I consider myself a hybrid entrepreneur because I like to take risks and I believe that without risks, there are no rewards. However, at the same time, I like to have everything under control so I believe it should be a balance.
On the other hand, I would like to have an online sales company. I have already had a business related to selling school bags and I would like to retake it.
I think all entrepreneurs task risk whether they like it or not. Good luck on restarting your online company!!!
I consider myself a specialized entrepreneur, I started my clinic many years ago because I saw the opportunity to develop my profession in a place without this type of service and I believe it was the right decision.
Sounds good Edgar. What kind of clinic do you have?
